Bryan Fagan

A Texas Child Support Attorney Focused on Protecting Families’ Financial Stability

Bryan Joseph Fagan didn’t grow up planning to be a lawyer—he grew up wanting to make a difference in people’s lives. Born in Colorado and raised in Atascocita, Texas, Bryan was one of four siblings, including two adopted brothers. From an early age, he understood that family comes in many forms—and that stability is what holds it together.

His father worked as an engineer, and his mother was a devoted teacher. Watching his father change jobs over the years gave Bryan a deep appreciation for financial security and the role it plays in protecting a family’s future. Today, that understanding shapes his approach to child support cases, where financial stability is often the foundation of a child’s well-being.

Finding His Purpose in Family Law and Child Support Advocacy

Bryan’s path to the law began with inspiration from The Pelican Brief, but it was during his time at South Texas College of Law—while working at a boutique family law litigation firm—that he discovered his true calling. He saw firsthand how child support disputes, custody challenges, and financial uncertainty can deeply impact parents and children alike.

That calling became even more personal when Bryan cared for his grandmother during her battle with Alzheimer’s while completing law school. Shortly after graduating, he experienced the unexpected loss of his father. These life experiences strengthened his empathy and reinforced his belief that families need strong, steady guidance during life’s most difficult transitions.

In child support matters, Bryan understands that the outcome isn’t just about numbers on a page—it’s about ensuring children receive the financial support they deserve while protecting parents from unfair or unmanageable obligations.

Building a Law Firm That Puts Families First

When Bryan founded the Law Office of Bryan Fagan, PLLC in 2012, his goal wasn’t simply growth—it was impact. He wanted to build a firm where families facing uncertainty could find clarity, strategy, and steady support.

Today, the firm has grown into one of the largest family law practices in Texas, with over 170 dedicated team members serving clients across eight counties. Yet the mission remains the same: to guide families through complex legal challenges—including child support establishment, modification, and enforcement—with compassion and strength.

A Strategic Approach to Child Support Cases

Bryan believes child support cases require more than routine calculations. They require careful evaluation of income, employment changes, high-net-worth considerations, enforcement actions, and long-term financial planning.

Under his leadership, the firm provides:

  • Strategic case planning tailored to each family’s financial circumstances
  • Clear, jargon-free communication about Texas child support guidelines
  • Representation in modification and enforcement proceedings
  • Modern, paperless systems that keep clients informed and empowered

For Bryan, protecting children’s financial stability and advocating for fair outcomes isn’t just part of family law—it’s a responsibility.

A Commitment to Excellence

Bryan is a certified member of the College of the State Bar of Texas—an honor earned by fewer than 10% of Texas attorneys—demonstrating his commitment to continued legal education and professional excellence. He is also active in the Houston Family Law Section of the Houston Bar Association and participates in family law organizations throughout Texas.

More Than an Attorney

As a devoted husband and father of three, Bryan understands firsthand how important stability, fairness, and financial security are to a child’s future. He knows that behind every child support case is a family seeking clarity, protection, and peace of mind.

That’s why he and his team remain committed to helping Texas parents navigate child support disputes with confidence, strategy, and unwavering support.

“We meet people at some of the hardest moments of their lives—and we get to help them. That’s not just our job. That’s our purpose.”
— Bryan Joseph Fagan, Esq.
