Houston Child Support Attorney Focused on Protecting Texas Families
Kary is a native Texan who has called Houston home for more than 20 years. She began her professional career as a high school English teacher in Austin and Fort Worth before pursuing her longtime goal of becoming an attorney. She earned her law degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she discovered her passion for courtroom advocacy.
During her final year of law school, Kary interned with the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office, gaining valuable litigation experience prosecuting criminal cases. She later served as an Assistant City Attorney under former Houston Mayor Bill White, where she strengthened her commitment to public service and protecting the welfare of Houston families.
Today, Kary focuses her practice on child support and family law matters, including child support establishment, modification, and enforcement, as well as custody disputes involving complex financial and parenting issues. She works diligently to help families reach practical settlements whenever possible, particularly in matters affecting children’s financial stability. When agreements cannot be reached, Kary leverages her litigation background to advocate aggressively in court for her clients’ rights.
Her experience in both prosecution and public service gives her a strong foundation in advocacy, strategy, and protecting the best interests of children and families.
Outside the office, Kary enjoys trivia and spending time with her dogs.
